Car Spotlights

Car spot lights are one of the biggest factors when you're driving at night or through bad weather. Before now, spotlights used to be very standard and were almost no better than the nightlight in your hallway! Things have evolved quite a bit since those times and now you can find hundreds of different kinds of spotlights for your car.

Choices range from the most simple, soft light, spot light, all the way to the most complex xenon lights which light up the road as though it were day time. To give you an idea of how far the car spotlight has come, you could take a look at some of the factory lights on Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, etc., whose headlights are designed to actually turn with your front wheels, so if you're going around a left bend in the road, the headlights turn with your wheels which enables you to see in the direction you're going.

A common problem brought on by the car spot light is the blinding affect they can have on oncoming traffic, especially when the high beams are on. Always remember to switch off your high beams if you can see an fellow driver coming from the opposite direction. If you are the fellow driver who's being blinded, then the safest thing for you to do in order to avoid a potential accident, is to simply direct your eyes towards the white line on the shoulder of the road, and if there's no white line for some reason then just find another reference point that will allow you to stay on track while the oncoming jerk passes.
